4. Duel Monsters
5. Millennium Puzzle
6. The Ultimate Great Moth
7. Everythings Relative
8. Champion Vs. Creator

10. Shining Friendship

1. Heart of The Cards

Following fast on the heels of Pokemon, the latest rage to ride the tsunami from the isle of machination to global domination is, Yu-Gi-Oh!

2. The Guantlet Is Thrown

Like the industry legend Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh! is a game and a show. But, this game is not video, it is a highly addictive card game. Pokemon had cards too and Yu-Gi-Oh! has a video game as well, but this card game is a much bigger deal, rivaling the likes of the widespread MAGIC the Gathering series of card games. Popular it is, this game of cards.

3. Journey to The Duelists Kingdom

A side-by-side comparison of the latest phenomenon with the legend goes like this: In its first 3 years in Japan, Pokemon sold 10 million video games and 600 million cards. After 3 years in Japan, Yu-Gi-Oh! sold 7 million video games and 3 BILLION cards. So, Yu-Gi-Oh! is a video game too, but the cards are where the attraction lies. So far, Pokemon has sold 90 million video games and 6 billion cards. If Yu-Gi-Oh! stays on par with Pokemon it may end up having one of the largest followings of any game in history.

4. Duel Monsters

So who or what is Yu-Gi-Oh!, anyway?

The show excels with the highly-kinetic Japanese anime style and follows the adventures of a shy high school student named Yugi. Yugi is not a popular kid and takes the blunt of many high school bullies, but is able to escape this ridicule when an ancient Egyptian artifact, known as The Millennium Puzzle, transports him into a magical realm where the popular card game, Duel Monsters, comes to life!

5. Millennium Puzzle

The Millennium Puzzle carries a deep secret buried deep within it. When Yugi finds himself in a bit of trouble, which often the case, the puzzle comes to life and invites Yugi to, How about playing a game with me?

6. The Ultimate Great Moth

Intricate, that is what makes Yu-Gi-Oh! so immensely popular. Details, thats what its got in spades. Details out the Yin Yang! Vibrantly rich details providing a real world that deeply submerses the players and viewers in a complex and entertaining experience.

7. Everythings Relative

During the first season of the show, Yugi was put to the test when he had to save his grandfather, this season the stakes have risen just a bit and now he must save the entire world.

8. Champion vs. Creator

The second series is currently underway in Japan and is based around Yugis adventures when his grandfathers soul is stolen by, Pegasus J. Crawford, the creator of the card game Duel Monsters. Yugi must journey to the Duelist Kingdom to face Pegasus in a tournament to win back his grandfathers soul.

9. The Dueling Monkey

Yu-Gi-Oh! for PlayStation 2 hit shelves nationwide in February. February also was the launch date for a new set of booster-pack cards for the game, called Labyrinth of Nightmare. Two new starter decks are also hitting the market in March, featuring 50 never-before-seen cards. You gotta love that. Especially since the release coincides with a 12-weekend nationwide tour of Yu-Gi-Oh! players at malls all over the country.

10. Shining Friendship

That same month they graced the cover of the pop-culture metronome, The TV Guide. Like all good phenomenons the show garnered 3 different collector covers. And in sparkly foil, to boot! Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba and Marik all received the Hollywood royal treatment with their own separate cover shots. A little known special 4th cover is also available, this one featuring a new character, Mai. Mai will come to play a very significant role during this new season.

Press Release

Matt Potts Stands Tall in His Latest Fashion Athletic Shoes Pierre Benoit

Release of new patented fashion athletic shoes (skateboard style)

FREMONT, CA December 31 2003-- At 59 Matt Potts hardly seems a tall man, but if you look closely you will find he is not standing alone. Beneath his medium height he gets a lift from a stack of cash stowed away safely in his shoe sole. Mr. Potts is betting that stack of cash will grow in the years ahead.

Mr. Potts has incorporated a wallet feature make that two wallets into the soles of his company's ArchPorts fashion athletic shoes (skateboard style) named for the wallet's arch location and port-like use. The concept is new and "radically innovative," according to 41-year-old Potts, who came up with the idea back in 1989 while playing tennis.

Playing on the courts across the street from his home, Potts had nowhere to put his house key, so he threw it on the court. After his game, he thought "how could someone integrate this into the foot? I considered that the mighty powers of the universe (god) must have intended some use for the arch of the foot. recalls Potts, who was earning his masters degree at the time. It took him over ten years to finally get around to file the patent, and in August of 2000 his patent issued. At the same time his first prototype was complete. Soon after ArchPort was offered through his website and through several local retailers.

The thought was simple enough, but getting the product to where it is today took half a decade of product development, design, testing and just plain ingenuity. Potts concedes that in the last two years, since ArchPorts introduction, he has fallen short of his expectations. Potts says the footwear industry is much more fashion oriented than I had imagined. While the product has huge appeal on its own, in order to appeal to retailers and compete on a national scale, I needed to change market direction, along with product design." "Ironically, fashion appeal is ArchPorts best feature, says Potts. But convincing retailers of this is not so easy. Potts believes that carrying a wallet is not fashionable because jeans dont fit nicely, look good or fit comfortably with a wallet protruding. Can you imagine ladies with tight jeans, carrying a wallet in their back pocket? To me it just detracts from the scenery, says Potts. Potts believes his recent strategic adjustments will bring him success soon. But he again concedes that he will need some luck and good fortune if he is to succeed on his own terms, given the current economic climate.

Its hard to say whether these shoes will meet their market, but I am sure I dont want the ladies looking at my !@$ (expletive), although it may look less lumpy in these shoes. Nevertheless, this product is extraordinary, with no other comparative footwear product in decades. I dont even think Nike Shox carry an issued patent. And at a tad under 6 feet, I look Mr. Potts directly in the eye, so it is certainly true that he stands a little taller in his ArchPorts.

Looking ahead, Potts envisions Global Positioning Systems (GPS) transceivers, computer data, remote controls, wireless MP3 players, battery modules, heaters and other gadgets placed in sandals, platform shoes, boots, and other types of footwear. "The patent covers many potential configurations using the ArchPort cartridge, says Potts.
